Independent Evaluation. Responsible Business. Continuous Improvement.
EEESEF provides independent Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) assessments and written reports to eligible companies and organisations without charging assessment or report fees. Our objective is to promote environmental responsibility, sound governance, social accountability, and sustainable business practices through structured, evidence-based evaluation.
Assessments are undertaken within a mutually agreed scope, subject to available resources, and are intended to identify organisational strengths, areas requiring improvement, and practical opportunities for more responsible business management.

EEESEF's Independent ESG Assessment provides participating organisations with an objective evaluation of their environmental, social, and governance practices.
The assessment considers relevant organisational policies, management systems, operational practices, supporting documentation, and available evidence. Findings are evaluated against EEESEF's established assessment methodology, taking into account the organisation's activities, industry, and operating context.
Our approach emphasises professional independence, transparency, evidence-based conclusions, and constructive recommendations for continuous improvement.
EEESEF's independent ESG assessments consider the following areas, as applicable to the organisation:
EEESEF follows a structured assessment procedure designed to maintain consistency, transparency, and professional independence.
1. Initial Consultation and Cooperation Framework
The organisation provides a brief company profile and description of its activities. EEESEF discusses the proposed assessment scope, information requirements, expected deliverables, and any relevant limitations.
Before formal engagement, EEESEF and the participating organisation sign a non-binding, non-financial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishing a framework for cooperation without creating financial obligations.
2. Independent ESG Assessment Agreement
Following the MOU, the parties enter into a separate, legally binding Independent ESG Assessment Agreement.
The agreement defines the assessment scope, responsibilities, confidentiality arrangements, deliverables, and applicable conditions. No assessment or report fee is charged. Any external laboratory, specialist, or travel expenses must be separately disclosed and approved in writing before being incurred.
3. Information and Documentation Review
EEESEF requests relevant organisational policies, operational records, management information, and supporting evidence.
Additional clarification, management discussions, or specialist input may be requested where appropriate and within the agreed scope.
4. Independent Assessment and Evaluation
The available evidence is reviewed against defined ESG assessment criteria using EEESEF's established weighted scoring methodology.
The evaluation considers documented strengths, identified gaps, material findings, and the reliability of supporting evidence. Conclusions are based on the information reviewed and are not predetermined.
5. Independent ESG Assessment Report
Following completion, EEESEF prepares an Independent ESG Assessment Report documenting the agreed scope, evaluation methodology, assessment score and rating, supporting findings, and practical recommendations for improvement where applicable.
EEESEF applies an evidence-based weighted scoring system with a maximum score of 100 points.
The assessment may result in one of three ratings:
The final assessment rating reflects the applicable scoring criteria, available evidence, and relevant findings.
A favourable score does not override material adverse findings or unresolved evidence concerns.
An assessment rating does not constitute ESG certification.
The Independent ESG Assessment Report provides a documented, evidence-based evaluation of the participating organisation's ESG practices.
Depending on the agreed scope, the report may include:
The report may assist organisations in strengthening internal sustainability management, improving ESG documentation, identifying operational gaps, and communicating relevant environmental and governance information to stakeholders.
The report represents EEESEF's independent findings within the defined assessment scope. It does not constitute statutory regulatory approval, accredited assurance, or certification.
EEESEF does not charge fees for its Independent ESG Assessment or the accompanying written report.
Assessments are undertaken within an agreed scope and subject to available resources.
Where external laboratory testing, specialist professional services, or travel expenses are necessary, such costs are identified separately and require the participating organisation's prior written approval.
EEESEF maintains professional independence throughout the assessment process. Assessment findings and ratings are determined by the evidence and applicable methodology, not by the organisation's interest in obtaining certification.
There is no obligation to pursue any subsequent paid service.
Following completion of the Independent ESG Assessment, an eligible organisation may voluntarily apply for certification under EEESEF's ECF-700:2026 ESG Management and Responsible Business Standard.
Certification is a separate, optional, paid process requiring its own legally binding Certification Agreement.
The certification procedure includes evaluation of the completed assessment against applicable scheme requirements, technical review, consideration of any necessary corrective actions, and an independent certification decision.
Certification is never automatic or guaranteed.
Payment of certification charges cannot influence the assessment findings or certification decision.
ECF-700:2026 is an independently developed EEESEF certification programme. It is not accredited ISO certification, governmental approval, or a substitute for statutory permits, mandatory environmental assessments, or regulated verification.
EEESEF welcomes enquiries from companies and organisations operating in sectors including:
